On the Toilet, that's usually our first reaction when someone suggest On The Border for a meal. To be honest that's usually been the case. Today, we had a work lunch at On The Border. There was a special lunch menu which offered a select number of regular entrees ( with a soup or salad), at a very lunch-friendly price. I wondered if I would going to get a normal portion when I ordered their lunch fajitas. When the dishes arrived they looked pretty normal to me, though you could tell they skimped a little on the fajita meat. All other sides including rice and beans were normal. This turned out to be a feast for the price. I chose the soup, it was ok with some nice heat to the broth. For lunch, it seemed like everyone was satisfied. For the price, you can't get any better in this area. - Mexican food is heavy food. Don't expect to be productive the rest of the day. - Lots of tabled for lunch, and they can accommodate parties of 12+ if you call ahead.
