This cozy 21-and-up restaurant in Point Loma offers wine varietals from around the world with a full menu that includes shareable plates, salads and entrees to keep you satisfied. But more intriguing are their special K-9 menu entrees, featuring chicken and rice or peanut butter and housemade biscuits served on the patio.

What to Order for Yourself: Any one of their panini like the Portobello mushroom with housemade pesto and goat cheese, sliced zucchini and kalamata tapenade.

All Loews luxury resorts and hotels welcome pet guests, but they also offer a special menu available on the patio at Cays Lounge, at the Market Cafe or as room service. There's a choice of six dishes fit for either cats or dogs and developed under the supervision of a licensed veterinarian. Choose from premium beef, chicken, veggies, liver, salmon and even brand-name pet food.

What to Order for Yourself: Treat yourself to their Market Power Breakfast Buffet at Loews' Market Cafe on the weekends, featuring early morning classics like eggs Benedict and waffles alongside house specialties.

This California chain restaurant caters to man’s best friend and welcomes well-behaved pooches to dine in the patio with their human companions. For your pup, choose white or brown rice with cooked chicken breast or grilled beef, served on a recyclable paper bowl.

What to Order for Yourself: Loaded potato hushpuppies (pictured above) are mashed potatoes with bacon and cheese that’s formed into balls and deep-fried. It’s topped with a spicy Tapatio crema.

Craft beer is big in San Diego and why leave it to the hoomans to have all the fun? While pups don't have their own brew to sip on, there's a selection of dishes for them to enjoy on the patio. On hot day, order up the chicken pops with cooked natural whole chicken frozen into ice cubes for a cool treat. They'll also enjoy a peanut butter-laced oatmeal bowl, grilled hamburger patty with green beans or a bowl of apples and cottage cheese.

What to Order for Yourself: Any one of their beers on tap along with an order of duck eggs rolls filled with duck confit and cream cheese.
